Originals in this selection, Monotype, Material Acrylic.
Paint, press, lift
On a glass or plastic plate, acrylic can be applied, lifted, and reworked quickly before it sets. If you want monotypes in acrylic for sale, you get sheets that fuse painting and printing into one step.
The image first forms in reverse on the plate, then the paper goes on and is rubbed down with a roller or run through a press. Acrylic delivers rich, matte tones, often with a fine grain at the edges. Because acrylic is water-based, the plate can be cleaned with water after printing as long as the paint is still wet.

Seeing the handwriting
Unlike editions, every sheet shows the speed and temperament of its maker. That suits living spaces that may be lively, and it combines well with plain furniture. A trace remains, from which a second, paler version can sometimes be pulled.
Searching with focus
To limit your budget, look under 500 euro. If you like it calmer, there are minimalist monotypes, and for more narrative work, graphic and illustrative sheets. Whether you pick a strong or delicate sheet depends on your wall and the light.
