Independent instead of labeled
Not every picture fits into a drawer, and some painting does not want to. Here you can find paintings for sale that are not assigned to a fixed style and let oil, watercolor or acrylic speak for themselves.
Without a style name you see what a picture can do: color, structure, rhythm. Some painters join figure and surface, others landscape and abstraction, without following a school. That makes the pictures open and sometimes surprisingly personal.

Technique as starting point
If you search without a style term, you can rely on the craft. Oil on canvas promises depth and warmth, watercolor lightness, acrylic clarity. Much about format, framing and care follows from the technique.
Deciding in front of the original
Have detail photos sent, ask about size, support, varnish and frame. If a picture speaks to you at once, you usually notice it in its mood in the room. A trial hanging of paper at original size helps.
