In prato otiosus
The work depicts a woman, tired of winter and illness, sitting in the shade of a lemon tree, magically sprung from the wishing lamp placed at the foot of her chair.
The work is part of the artists pursuit of dreamlike realism.
The painting is made with raw pigments mixed with a blend of linseed and safflower oil.
The work is part of the Otium cycle.
