Telling without a school
Naive painting sees the world without rules of perspective, but with delight in color and story. You can find naive oil paintings from 500 to 1,000 euro for sale here if you want pictures that tell their tales openly and warmly.
Naive painters follow the eye and the heart, not the academy. Houses lean, trees glow in strong green, figures wear their patterns like fabrics. Oil holds this directness, because it allows rich, opaque color fields.

Cheerfulness in the room
A naive picture brings ease to sober rooms. It suits kitchens, nurseries or hallways where a smile does good. It also links easily with rattan, wood and plants. Pale walls let the palette shine.
Genuine or stylized
Some pictures imitate the naive style on purpose. Both variants have their charm. In the listing, ask about the idea behind it, the support and the size. A short note on the signature on the front helps with placing it.
