Sharp edges, flat color
Graphic design, illustration and typography bring line, lettering and pictogram into painting. Graphic acrylic pictures for sale under 500 euro are a good route if you like clear shapes and planes of color.
Acrylic can be masked with tape and covers in a single pass. That produces planes with exactly set borders, block letters, symbols or figures with a heavy outline. Unlike a print, the hand shows in small irregularities. Smaller graphic pictures especially lend themselves to groupings, say as a row of letters or a grid of symbols. If you want to combine several, check whether palette and line weight match.

A picture that gets read
Graphic pictures tell their story quickly. In a hallway, a kitchen or a children’s room they work because they are instantly understood and still offer detail.
Entry under 500 euro
At this price level you generally find smaller canvases and works on paper, including series in compact squares. A white frame lets planes of color stand especially clear.
