For large walls
On paper, large formats are easy to hang since they stay light. A white clip frame without a mat strengthens the flatness, with a wide mat the picture feels calmer. Decide by your feeling for the room.
Authenticity and condition
Ask about signature, dating and condition. Look for creases, foxing and edge damage before deciding. The paper should be acid-free so that colors do not yellow. With works of this size it is worth telling a cut edge from a deckled edge, since each changes the impression.
