Composition of chance and intervention
When rust paints without a subject, pure structure remains: lines, stains and rims that tell of water and metal. For 500 to 1,000 euro you can find abstract rust paintings for sale that show this structure at a size you can read well.
Abstract here does not mean arbitrary. The artist picks paper, panel or canvas, decides where water stays standing and stops the process at the right moment. Out of hundreds of possible end states, one is chosen. It becomes most rewarding when you watch the picture in your own light for a few days, since rust tones shift noticeably from morning to evening.

Hanging and light
On a light wall the color rims stand out well. Diffuse light brings out the steps between ochre and brown, raking light picks out small crusts. Leave room beneath the picture, perhaps for a sideboard.
Good questions for the description
Is the surface sealed? How is the picture hung? With wooden panels, plugs and hooks should match the weight, and a discreet frame in light wood lets the color rims breathe.
