Originals in this selection, Watercolor, Abstract, under 500 euro.
Water, pigment, time
Watercolor is translucent, and used abstractly it becomes pure flowing, bleeding and evaporating. For under 500 euro you can find abstract watercolors for sale in which water paints almost as much as the brush.
The artist lets color run onto wet paper, tilts the sheet, dabs with a sponge. Pigments settle in granules or form pale rims. Because nothing can be painted over, spontaneity and transparency arise that oil or acrylic cannot produce.

Behind glass, with a mat
Watercolor dislikes direct sunlight and needs protection. An acid-free mat and UV-protective glass keep the sheet stable. In a bright but not sunny room the delicate tones show best.
When choosing
Look at paper type and weight, since heavy cotton paper buckles less. Ask whether the sheet comes framed, and check dimensions in centimeters. Small abstract watercolors can be shown well in changeable frames, so you can swap the picture with the seasons and spare the paper. Store sheets not on display flat and in the dark.
