Originals in this selection, Acrylic on canvas, under 500 euro.

Formats from 15 x 15 to 90 x 110 cm.

Why acrylic is so versatile

Acrylic on canvas is the most common pairing in contemporary painting, because it is sturdy, rich in color, and flexible in style. If you want acrylic paintings on canvas under 500 euro for sale, you can filter by style, for instance abstract, impressionist, or urban and pop.

Acrylic dries fast, covers well, and can be glazed thin or built up thick. It hardly yellows and reacts less to room climate than oil does. That is why acrylics on canvas fit kitchens, stairwells, and offices as well as living rooms.

Format and hanging

Canvas on stretcher bars can hang without a frame when the edges are painted. A floater frame looks refined, a raw wooden frame more casual. Larger formats need two hooks or a rail, or the picture tilts at the slightest touch.

What to read in the listing

Look for dimensions, stretcher depth, notes on varnish, and a precise description of the motif. Small to mid-sized formats are usual among originals at this price level, often from younger painters who are still firming up their line.
