Big sheets, fine effect
At prices of 1,000 to 2,000 euro, oil on paper usually belongs to the fully developed works on paper. Here you can find oil on paper in this price class for sale, in sheets that do not hide behind their format.
On large-format paper oil shows its own freshness. The paint sits lightly, looks almost watercolor-like and gives the stroke air. A successful sheet in this band has attitude and weight although the material is delicate.

The larger the sheet, the more important the frame. Choose a mat of acid-free board, glass with UV protection and a backing that supports the paper. The frame is not an accessory here but part of the protection.
