Brush, glaze, decision
Painting with ink as a technique in its own right takes courage, because every trace stays. Paintings in ink from 500 to 1,000 euro are for sale here, with depths of color that only this material can reach.
Ink is built in glazes, from light to dark, since black cannot be lightened. Anyone painting this way plans ahead, keeps areas free, and works with water to win transitions. The result is a picture with transparency and clear structure.

Light in the picture
Because the paper glimmers through the glazes, light seems to come from within. Such pictures work especially in rooms with daylight. They should still avoid direct sun, since ink can fade. A frame with UV glass protects reliably.
Checking size and material
In the range of 500 to 1,000 euro, medium to larger formats are usual among originals. Ask about the support, ink type, and signature. If the picture was made on canvas, inquire whether it is varnished and how it was stretched.
