Originals in this selection, Acrylic, Material Ink, 500 to 1,000 euro.
Formats from 38 x 29 to 50 x 40 cm.
Opaque and transparent
Acrylic and ink meet in this selection as pictures of contrasts: matte color fields beside deep black lines. Paintings in acrylic and ink from 500 to 1,000 euro are for sale here, whether on paper, canvas, or wood.
Acrylic provides fields of color that dry quickly and can therefore be painted over or supplemented with ink. Ink sets accents: contours, hatching, gradients. That yields pictures in which flatness and line stay clearly separate and complement each other at once.

Lively on the wall
This combination works in modern rooms as well as in old buildings. On light walls the color fields come strongly, on gray or dark ones the lines set accents. Frames in white, black, or natural wood are mostly the calmest choice.
Support and protection
At 500 to 1,000 euro, larger formats are often found among originals. Ask about the support material and whether the ink was sealed. On paper glass protects, on canvas varnish; both keep dust and light from attacking the lines.
