Small stone pictures, big feel
Where stone is involved, people think of weight and effort, yet small formats can carry natural stone too. For under 500 euro you can find paintings with natural stone for sale that convince through grain and color.
At this price level you tend to meet compact formats, such as pictures with stone dust in the paint or thin slate tiles as supports. Small surfaces show the grain well because you can step right up to them. That is the appeal of such works.

A place in the house
A small stone picture suits a shelf, a hallway wall or a window niche. It needs no frame if the edges are cleanly made. Beside plants and ceramics it looks especially coherent.
Tips for choosing
Ask about weight and hanging, even with small pieces. For orientation there are acrylic on canvas and Classical. A tip for beginners: anyone buying art on stone for the first time should be able to hold the picture or have detail photos sent. That is the best way to judge grain and weight.
