Originals in this selection, Rust, 500 to 1,000 euro.
More effort, more control
To paint with rust is to let the surface work along, and in the middle price class that is clearly visible. If you want paintings with rust for sale in the 500 to 1,000 euro range, you will find panels that are carefully built and secured.
At this level works are often larger than entry formats and show several rounds of oxidation. You see finely graded tones from yellow ochre to black-brown, sometimes joined by pigment or sand. The layers are set with more control.

Mood in the room
A medium rust picture can carry a dining room or workspace wall alone. Its warm tones tolerate cool light but look richest under bulbs with a warm color temperature.
To keep searching
More orientation comes from Painting with rust and abstract rust pictures. Ask about sealing and support so that nothing keeps rusting. Give rust time to be looked at. The subtleties reveal themselves slowly: a rim that shimmers lighter, a vein that branches, a spot where the iron looks almost blue. That is exactly where the appeal lies.
