What this range suggests
Tempera demands patience, and it shows on the surface: stroke after stroke, without correction. Anyone seeking tempera paintings from 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale wants pictures where craft and thought stand together.
Between 2,000 and 5,000 euro, originals commonly include large panels, developed pictorial worlds and confident handwriting. With tempera this means finely worked surfaces in which every stroke stays recognizable. The painter has no way to blend away a hesitation, which is why confident drawing counts so much.

Directions on offer
Egg tempera combines with acrylic on acrylic on canvas, in surrealism the fine strokes build a dreamlike, exact world, and in symbolism the bright paint becomes a quiet carrier of meaning.
Checking condition and support
Tempera is brittle and needs a firm ground. Ask about support, primer and condition, since cracks and flaking arise easily when a board warps. Look for stable backs and ask how the picture has been stored.
