Original artwork description

The mountains leaped like rams, and the little hills like lambs
Bible, Psalms, Psalm 114

This work is part of a series about Armenia and Georgia that I have never visited. It is about the unity of all things in the world. About the union of nature in which man lives, his culture and work. The mountains, the soft sheeps wool falling from under the shearer’s hands, and the clouds seem created from the same material. A flock of sheep glides like clouds across the mountain tops. A blue sky peeks through them, like the sheepherders dreams of abundance and prosperity.
