Matte glow, moving ground
Acrylic on canvas with tempera sounds like a contradiction, since tempera loves wood and canvas flexes. Anyone seeking acrylic paintings on canvas with tempera from 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale finds pictures that join an old matte look with new flexibility.
Tempera alone is brittle and handles movement poorly. On acrylic canvas it lies as a layer or accent over a flexible base. That keeps the fine, matte tone of egg paint without risking cracks in the canvas.

Between price and size
For originals from 2,000 to 5,000 euro, larger formats are common, and on canvas generous dimensions too. Note height, width and depth, and mark the area on your wall with masking tape before you decide.
Caring for the surface
Avoid touching, because egg paint reacts sensitively to grease and moisture. Dust only dry. A spot without drafts and direct sun protects the colors in the long run. Ask also about a varnish that protects the surface.
