Of the present and free
Modern works on paper live on lightness and clear decisions. Modern mixed-media works on paper for sale under 500 euro show sheets that present contemporary art without much fuss.
Modern here means: no rule about what a picture must depict. On paper line, blot and plane stand side by side as equals. Mixed media allows combinations of print remnants, pencil traces, paint and collage that join into an open composition.

Paper as a design tool
In modern work the paper often stays visible. It is not just a support but color, texture and space. A torn edge, a crease, a stain can belong to the statement. Study the photos closely to see whether such traces are intended and how the sheet is framed.
Hanging and combining
A modern work on paper is easy to combine with other styles because it stays restrained. It fits in a kitchen, hallway and study. Under 500 euro there is room for a good frame that gives the sheet protection and presence.
