One thing, one surface
Modern reduction meets a found piece: an empty field, an object, nothing more is needed. You can find modern mixed media with found objects for sale under 500 euro if you prefer clear pictures with a thing in them.
Modern works set an object in a calm surface and let it act: a piece of wire, a key, a plank. The contrast of emptiness and thing gives the picture its tension. Popular are picture surfaces in muted tones from which a single thing emerges: a screw, a piece of wire, a bunch of keys. The object reads like one sentence in an otherwise empty text, and its isolation is what makes the picture strong.

On the price band
Under 500 euro, originals commonly come in smaller formats with handy materials. Modern found-object pictures fit, because they tell a lot with little effort. Series of similar elements are frequent too.
Hanging
A reduced picture needs space around it. Hang it in a quiet zone, for example above a desk or a chest of drawers. Either a simple frame or an edge painted in a matching tone will do.
