Fresh and of its time
Modern art under 500 euro relies on clear placement and fresh means, often in small formats that hang easily. Modern mixed media under 500 euro is for sale if you look for contemporary handwriting on a small budget.
Modern works often combine acrylic, ink and paper parts with surprising finds such as found objects. The mix feels direct and unpretentious, and the pieces openly carry the traces of how they were made.

Where they hang
Small to medium formats work anywhere: above the bed, on a stair landing or on a shelf. Combining several pieces gives a wall with character. For technique and support, Painting and paper help with orientation.
What to look for
With collages containing found objects, it pays to ask about adhesive and durability. Paper works belong under glass, canvases should hang dry. Check dimensions and signature in the description before you buy a frame or clear a wall.
