Stroke, blot, spatter
The hand draws fast, the water makes blots, and together they make a sheet full of energy. You can find gestural mixed media drawings with watercolor for sale here to experience spontaneity on paper.
Gestural drawing follows the swing of the arm: long lines, short blows, scribbles. Watercolor lays clouds of color beneath or above and lets lines partly vanish. Each sheet is a moment. You see where the pencil touched down and where it lifted, where the paint ran and where it stopped. These traces are the actual motif, and the longer you follow them, the more layers the sheet shows.

Sheet and frame
Spontaneous drawings look best in a plain frame with a wide mat. The white space gives the traces air. Do not let the sheet rest against the glass, or pigments may stick.
What matters
Ask about paper and color media. Lightfast pigments last markedly longer than colored markers. Description and photos should state format and paper weight so you can judge the effect on the wall.
