Fine lines, strange things
Surreal drawing designs dream worlds with nib, brush and watercolor. You can buy surreal mixed media drawings for sale here, with ink, watercolor and pen and ink.
Nib and ink allow details that painting could hardly manage: tiny windows, hairs, smoke. Watercolor lays color beneath that explains nothing but gives mood. The result is a sheet you can look at for a long time.

Close up, hung calmly
Surreal drawings want to be studied, not skimmed. Place them where people stop: next to the desk, in the hallway, above a bench. Even light keeps details from disappearing.
Paper and price
Many works are found under 500 euro. Paper quality and lightfastness of ink and watercolor matter. Ask about UV-protective glass and an acid-free mat so lines and tones look good for a long time. Drawn dream images often stay smaller in format, which gives them intimacy: you step close, spot a figure and follow it across the sheet.
