Mist, edge, layer
Spray paint gives you soft gradients and razor-sharp edges in the same picture, and mixed media adds collage, acrylic or paper beside it. Collectors who want mixed media with spray paint for sale in the 1,000 to 2,000 euro range will often meet large, heavily layered formats.
Paint leaves the can as a fine mist. Behind a stencil it forms crisp outlines, without one the edges drift into clouds. In mixed media these zones meet torn paper, acrylic fields or stamps, so the surface shifts between smooth and rough. Laying thin veils of spray over one another builds a depth that a single brushstroke rarely reaches.

Format and hanging
At this price level, originals usually bring more wall presence and more studio hours. A piece like this can carry a wall alone, with a sideboard beneath as its stage. In the description, look for the support it was made on, a protective varnish over the spray layers, and whether a frame or hanging system comes with it.
Caring for spray layers
Spray paint is sensitive to rubbing and solvents. Skip damp cloths on the surface, a dry soft brush is enough. A little space between wall and frame lets the back breathe and guards against damp spots, which matters for paper layers in particular.
