Processes on top of each other
Where mixed media meets ink, pictures arise from several layers and techniques. Mixed-media ink works for sale at 1,000 to 2,000 euro show pieces that bundle many processes in one frame.
Ink is combined with paint, pencil, paper or paste. One layer carries the next, and the order determines the look: ink beneath a glaze stays soft, ink on acrylic turns sharp. Good work uses these opposites on purpose.

In the class from 1,000 to 2,000 euro one generally expects clean workmanship, well-chosen supports and a framing that suits the work. Check photos of the edges and the back: they reveal how carefully things were glued and fixed.
Hanging long term
For mixed techniques, dry, moderately warm rooms are ideal. Frames with space between picture and glass keep layers from touching. Ask for care notes, such as how often to remove dust, and how the work is to be transported.
