Spray, brush, paper
A picture laid down with the can and carried on with brush or paper brings the momentum of the street into the living room. You can find mixed media with spray paint for sale between 1,000 and 2,000 euro if you look for originals with scale and energy.
For originals at this price level, medium to larger formats and elaborate layering are frequent. Stencils, tape and collage set edges, the mist from the can provides depth. Typical are gradients, mists, hard stencil edges and layers that combine with brush or paper. Working with the can demands speed, yet the results often look astonishingly controlled and smooth.

Pages that help
Mixed media shows the breadth of techniques, Modern the reduced side. Both can be used to refine the selection by visual language.
Wall effect and protection
Large-format spray pictures are strong color carriers and can hold a wall alone. Ask about clear coat and support material. On canvas and wood, spray paint holds very well, on paper it needs a frame with glass.
