Craft plus format
Between 1,000 and 2,000 euro, originals with metal often bring size and craft effort together. Mixed media with metal in this price tier is for sale if the work should carry a room.
In this tier you find pieces in which sheet metal was cut, etched, waxed or painted. Metal is combined with pigment, resin or paper, and the layers fuse into a surface that feels hard and soft at once. Larger formats are more common here, as are more elaborate backs and hanging systems.

Wall strength and lighting
The bigger the sheet, the more the wall matters. Read weight and hanging in the description and drill only into load-bearing surfaces. For light, one spot at a grazing angle is enough: it brings out grooves, hammer marks and brushstrokes.
How far to browse
By technique you can narrow works under Mixed Media and Painting, and in the styles Impressionism or gestural. Open metals shift with humidity, so bathrooms and kitchens are unsuitable. Keep any care notes from the artist.
