Originals in this selection, Oilcolor, 2,000 to 5,000 euro.
A price band with weight
Large, commanding pictures demand material that can carry weight, and oil has been the choice for that for centuries. You can find mixed media with oil paint for sale from 2,000 to 5,000 euro if you want originals with scale and presence.
Between these amounts, originals often come in larger formats, with more elaborate supports and established positions. Mixed media in oil usually means weeks of work until the picture has dried through. In this range you often meet works that grew over several sessions: layer by layer, with pauses for drying through. You can see it in the depth of the color, which seems to glow from within.

Hanging a large picture
Plan the wall first: anchors, hanging rails and wall thickness must match the weight. A large picture needs room to step back. Neutral walls let the depth of the oil tones speak.
