Morning light in chalk

Pastel should never lie in a stack, it should stand upright or hang. In transit, a stiff board in front of the picture helps. Ask about fixing and paper. Dark rooms make impressionist pastels almost glow, bright rooms make them airy. Both work, it depends on the feeling you want to give the room. Try a sheet against the wall first, framed only.
