Studied at the Rhineland branch of the University of Education in Aachen from 1973 to 1976,
Diploma in Education, Art studies under Prof. Joachim Bandau and Prof. Benno Werth
Member of the BBK Aachen (Federal Association of Visual Artists) since 2011

„With Willi Lemke a many-sided artist enters the plan. He paints, signs, erased, photographed, collagiert, he creates wall objects, sculptures, plastics and whole space installations. Not only the way and the technology of his pieces of art are extremely variable, but also their contents. Beside surrealistic chalk pictures irritating the visual habits, abstract, often monochrome oil paintings are found, from metal and wood joined animals and even the human ear is interesting enough for him to choose it to the starting point of his artistic employment.
Willi Lemke is born in 1950 in Würselen near Aachen and finishes an art degree with professor Joachim Bandau beside the teaching post study. “*
