Statement

The fascinating world of crystals.

My sculptural work is based on geological research and analysis of cultural stratum. Processes of crystallization play the starring role in my artistic action. In my studio, I reproduce natural crystallization processes that can usually be observed deep underground. For my sculptures and paintings, I use different types of natural salts and specified water origins. Time, light, colour, and natural intelligence are the most important aspects in my artwork. I think that book is a unique information carrier created by Human Sapience; therefore, I decided to crystallize some of them and save these historical relics in the most beautiful material I found.

With my sculptures, I look forward to the archaeology of the future and save information in crystals to pay attention to vital questions about the existence of our species. During observation of my sculptures, it is possible to look over the timeline and discover our Planet Earth and life-defending processes from the inside. Including my crystal paintings, which allow one to see the depth of colours on a different level of perception, sculptures show natural colours, transparency, beauty, of the oldest mineral on our planet.

Each sculpture is unique and has its own character. The time of creation varies from 1 year to 5 years or more. The same with paintings, it is Impossible to create the same one because the material I work with is alive. The same as wood, where each part has its own unique pattern. What nature creates cannot be replicated.

Interaction with crystals has a positive effect on health and calms the nervous system.
