Vita

I was born in Montabaur in 1959. After attending various schools in Lahnstein and Koblenz, I found myself in Frankfurt am Main 25 years later, studying art (painting), art education, and art history, graduating with a Master of Arts degree. I also had the privilege of studying under Professor Raimer Jochims at the Städel Museum for three years—a challenging but rewarding experience.

Afterward, I pursued a career in journalism, television, and filmmaking. Following stints in Munich, Canada, and Berlin, I now live in the Hanseatic city of Wismar.

My easel has returned here, and I haven't been able to tear myself away from it since. Besides creating vibrant landscapes and figures in oil and acrylic on canvas, I also work on complex structures using other materials such as sand, plaster, fabric, textiles, and rock flour.

I have been a member of the Wiligrad Art Association since 2024.
