This oil painting depicts bathers on a beach in Antibes, with the city and its famous ramparts in the background, standing out against the Southern Alps. It was painted on a linen canvas based on sketches and watercolors made on location in September 2015. The technique of successive glazes (thin, almost transparent layers) gives it a great deal of luminosity. This artwork is ready to hang and has a discreet varnished wooden framed(see the last photo). It is also available unframed upon request.
