Reduction meets material richness
Modernism and mixed materials produce sculptures that join metal with wood, glass, stone or textile and stay clear while doing so. You can look for modern mixed media metal sculptures for sale if you like contrast without chaos.
Modern mixed media works with few elements that are well chosen. A steel band holding a piece of wood, a metal disc before a pane of glass, a frame with a single colored part. The tension lies in the relation of the substances, not in their quantity.

Placement in modern rooms
Because such pieces are built clearly, they need little surrounding. A smooth surface, a plinth, good light are enough. If you show them against a colored backdrop, make sure the materials stay readable.
Mind the details
Check the join between the substances, since it is the weak spot. Ask whether wood is treated or glass secured, and what care each material needs. Dimensions, weight and signature belong in the description of a modern piece like this.
