Seeing without recognizing
Abstract photography breaks away from the recognizable object: a water surface, a patch of rust or a reflection turns into color, line and structure. You can find abstract photography for sale in many price brackets, such as 500 to 1,000 euro and above.
Abstract photography arises from extreme crops, blur, multiple exposure or close-ups. What you see is no longer the object but rhythm and surface. That keeps every picture open to your own reading. You can tell good abstract photography by the way it still shows something new after weeks, such as a line you had overlooked before.

Wall space and lighting
Abstract pictures work in landscape format above sideboards and in portrait format in stairwells. Warm, directed light brings out the structure, and a white mat gives the shapes air. Plain furniture makes good company.
What to look out for
Different processes lead to entirely different results. Whether color or black and white, pigment print or print behind acrylic glass should ideally be in the description. Edition and signature are worth asking about as well.
