Abstraction from the capture
A photo that looks abstract without being edited shows the skill behind the camera: in the angle, the close look, the right light. If you want to buy abstract photographs for sale, some sit from 500 to 1,000 euro.
In unmanipulated abstraction everything happens before the shutter. The eye looks for patterns in ice, sand, wood grain or facade glass and crops them until the object disappears. What remains are line and the relation of surfaces. Often you only realize that a motif comes from everyday life when you read the title or description, which is part of the charm.

Hanging the abstract
Because the pictures do not demand a top and bottom, you can imagine them in either orientation. Try beforehand how the piece looks in the room, especially next to furniture with geometric shapes. A frame in pale wood underlines the nature of the motifs.
Keeping paper and provenance in view
Pay attention to size, printing process and paper, because fine structures need a sharp print. A numbered print with a signature adds some footing when you decide.
