A carrier with character
Fiberglass is an unusual carrier for photography: light, rigid and resilient, with a surface that gives the picture body. You can find photographs on fiberglass for sale here, in styles from impressionism to montage.
Glass-fiber reinforced materials stay dimensionally stable and take up hardly any moisture. The picture therefore feels sculptural, a little like an object rather than a sheet. Depending on the surface, the look ranges from smooth to lightly textured.

In the room
Thanks to the low weight, even large formats are easy to hang. Fiberglass handles rooms with changing climate, such as kitchens or stairwells, better than paper does. Direct sun should still be kept away.
By style and process
Try expressive pictures, impressionist shots, color photographs or edited works. Check dimensions, hanging system and edition in the listing. With fiberglass, do ask how the back is finished, whether frame battens are attached and how the picture is best transported. That saves surprises when unpacking and hanging.
