Composed puzzles
Surreal scenes live on the collision of reality and dream, and large formats give them a stage. Surreal acrylic paintings for sale from 1,000 to 2,000 euro stand for elaborately composed pictures you can contemplate for a long time.
A Surrealist plans the picture: horizon line, cast shadows, the relation of things to one another. Only then is it painted. Acrylic allows soft skies, clean contours and reworking without waiting, so even complex scenes with fine details succeed. Good surreal pictures stay internally logical even when the subject is absurd. See whether light and shadow are handled consistently. That holds the scene together and makes it convincing.

Conversation pictures in the room
Surreal paintings draw glances and raise questions. That makes them good companions in a dining room, salon or meeting room. Add a little distance and a neutral wall color.
Details that count
Dimensions, support, varnish and hanging should be clearly stated. With large formats, weight is a practical point.
