Materials in conversation
Mixed media means a picture speaks in several materials at once, and ink is the quiet, flowing voice among them. Mixed-media paintings with ink for sale here combine collage, color, paper and line on one surface.
Ink reacts differently to every ground: on paste it turns matte, on wax it beads, on paper scraps it traces edges. That friction is what makes mixed media appealing. Each layer has its own touch, and the picture shifts with the light.

Care and questions
With mixed techniques it pays to ask what was glued, waxed or sealed. That decides whether the piece should hang behind glass or open. Raised areas need distance from the glazing so nothing touches.
Checking what was joined together
Ask in the listing about papers, adhesives and additions such as wax, sand or pigment powder. Such ingredients decide durability and care. Loose parts should sit firmly, and the ink must not bleed if the picture hangs behind glass.
