Color in the lead role
In abstract painting what counts is what the color does, not what it depicts. If you want abstract painting in the 500 to 1,000 euro range for sale, you can leave technique and support open and concentrate fully on the effect.
Sometimes broad fields overlap, sometimes narrow traces run through the space. Dense areas alternate with translucent ones. Since no object is depicted, the relationship of tones alone carries the picture.

A wall piece with leeway
Abstract works can sometimes hang landscape or upright, if the signature allows it. They are flexible in room design and cope with changing furniture. A picture in orange and blue livens up, one in gray and beige calms.
Questions for the listing
Which paints were used, on what support, at what size? What does the back look like? For works from 500 euro up, a signature and a hanging note are a given. A certificate adds assurance when you pass the piece on later.
