Originals in this selection, Mixed Media, Material Gouache.
Paint that makes room
Mixed media with gouache lives from the contrast between opaque, matte paint and everything around it: drawing, paper, found piece. Mixed media works with gouache are for sale here sorted by style and price.
Gouache forms clear fields into which collage paper or pencil reach. Unlike watercolor, it hides what lies beneath and gives the picture a distinct order. The matte surface feels calm. Typical are paper cut-outs, printed found pieces, ink lines and applied color fields. Because gouache can be re-wetted after drying, many works are corrected and refined over days.

Style and price
You find free compositions under Abstract. If you look for larger formats, you can view the price band 2,000 to 5,000 euro, in which more elaborate build-ups and careful framing frequently occur.
Framing and care
Gouache works belong under glass, with a gap and a mat. Avoid light falling in from the window side. If the sheet is wavy, a framer can fix the paper afterward.
