Depth under glass
Resin is liquid before it hardens, and that exact moment shapes the work: color, pigment and inclusions hang suspended. Mixed media with resin is for sale if you look for depth and glass-clear gloss in one picture.
Resin is poured in layers and cures into a smooth, glossy skin. Pigments, metal powder, paper or small objects can be sealed inside. Because every layer bends light, a resin picture looks spatial, as if you were looking into water. In mixed media it often combines with acrylic, wood or collage. Bold, expressive pieces sit in the Expressionism style.

Weight and care
Resin is heavier than it looks, so the hanging system counts: ask about weight and hooks or backing. The surface scratches under rough cloths, a soft microfiber one is enough. Direct sun can turn some resins slightly yellow over time, so a spot in softer light is the safer choice.
Color in resin
Pigments behave differently in resin than on canvas: they sink, float or form cells, depending on how thick and how warm the pour was. That is why no surface matches another. Photos under raking light show best how deep the layers lie.
