Ink without a subject
Abstract mixed-media ink works show how liquid, line and plane get by without an object. Abstract ink works for sale offer pictures that can be read anew again and again.
In abstraction the nature of ink comes forward: it forms edges, spreads out, dries in clouds and veins. Traces of chalk, pastel or collage parts join in. What would be a side matter with a subject becomes the theme here.

Choosing and price
To set a price frame first, orient yourself by 1,000 to 2,000 euro, where larger works become more frequent. For the painterly side, also look under Painting. Both routes show how wide the spectrum reaches.
Hanging
Abstract sheets tolerate calm walls. A light frame or a mat with a wide border gives the composition distance. A little light from the side makes ink traces look sculptural. A dark hallway is less favorable, because tonal differences in the ink then disappear.
