Traces without an object
Abstract graphite drawings turn line, surface and emptiness into music for the eyes. You can buy abstract graphite sheets for sale here, for example at the level under 500 euro or as a fully worked drawing.
Graphite can be layered densely, scratched, smudged and lightened again. That makes it an ideal material for abstract work in which the traces of making are themselves the subject. Circling movements, geometric fields or finely woven patterns are typical. Some sheets read like maps of a feeling, others like pure grids. Both can be made with graphite, and quality shows in the interplay of stroke and paper.

Calm and rhythm in the room
Abstract graphite sheets calm a wall without leaving it empty. They suit concrete surfaces, wood and natural fabrics and bring structure into rooms with little decor. A broad margin in the mat stresses the stillness.
Clarify the hanging
With abstract sheets, ask about the intended orientation and the place of the signature. Even a turn by ninety degrees can change the character of a picture.
