A scaffold of lines
Cubism with pencil and ruler means above all one thing: concentration on the scaffold of a picture. You can buy cubist pencil drawings in graphite for sale here if you seek order and handwriting together.
With these sheets the concept lies open: angles, intersections, overlaps. The graphite tints every plane with a slight gradation of tone so the eye can move through the levels of the picture. It is a thought-image you rebuild with your eyes. The structure of the paper is part of the thought as well, since a light tooth slightly breaks the straights and gives the sheet some warmth without disturbing the construction.

Drawing as anchor
Because of their clarity, such sheets suit workstations, offices and meeting rooms. But next to soft textiles they also make a fine contrast. A thin metal frame and a white mat are enough.
Ask about the paper
Geometric drawings need flat supports. Inquire about paper weight and frame type so that the sheet does not ripple and the lines look straight.
