Rhythm made of lines
Abstract pencil drawings tell without objects: a line runs, breaks off, comes back, and that is enough. You can buy abstract drawings in pencil for sale here, for instance in the price range under 500 euro or as a sketch.
Without a recognizable subject, spacing, density and direction count. Circles, grids, a small swarm or a single long gesture: everything comes from the hand and turns out differently depending on the lead’s hardness. The viewer adds what he sees. That is what makes abstraction in pencil so flexible: with no brief, everything may grow, and every drawing answers the question of order in its own way.

Tension in the room
Abstract sheets work particularly well in modern rooms with clear surfaces but hold their own next to old furniture too. An unusual frame, say square or slim, underlines the character.
Hanging and turning
Ask whether the drawing has a fixed top and bottom. On some sheets the signature marks the orientation, on others you can decide yourself.
