Black that smells of the street
Charcoal turns urban pop into a black and white language: graffiti lettering, cartoon figures and poster motifs gain depth without needing color. Charcoal drawings in an urban pop style for sale under 500 euro bring plenty of smoke, contrast and speed.
Compressed charcoal gives a deep, velvety black, while vine charcoal supplies the loose gray steps in between. An eraser lifts highlights out of the field, so a motif can look peeled off a wall. That shift between grime and sharpness carries the style.

Frames that hold the dust
Charcoal sits loosely on the paper. A frame with glass and a spacer keeps anything from sticking to the pane. A white or pale gray mat makes the black read deeper and gives the loud motif a calm stage.
Fixed or not?
Ask before buying whether the sheet has been fixed, and if it has not, transport it with tissue between layers. A note on format and paper belongs in every good description.
