Mare Adriatico No. 01. With this work, my intention was to blur the boundary between photography and painting. The image was captured using a special lens that transmits light much like a *camera obscura* (pinhole camera). This gives the photograph a distinctive softness, transcending the mediums documentary nature and leaning towards painterly abstraction. Here, light literally paints the image, acting like a brush in an artists hand.
The print is produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag baryta paper, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity.
Paper size: 64 x 94 cm; image dimensions: 60 x 90 cm. The print features a 2 cm white border on all sides, making framing easier. Mare Adriatico No. 01 is a signed and numbered original, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
