Night Came Through the Leaves holds the moment when a garden changes but does not yet disappear. Inspired by the garden in bloom.
The darkness enters gradually, travelling through the leaves and gathering between the flowers. Painted with loose, expressive gestures, the garden becomes less a place than a living sensation — colour glowing quietly as the evening closes around it.
