The Garden Still Remembers You was inspired by my visit to Giverny in spring 2026. Surrounded by gardens overflowing with colour, I was drawn not only to the flowers themselves, but to the feeling that a garden can hold traces of the people and moments that have passed through it.
Back in my studio, I developed that impression into this vibrant semi-abstract garden painting. Layers of pink, coral, yellow, violet, blue and green overlap across the canvas, while loose, expressive brushwork allows the flowers to emerge and dissolve into colour.
This original contemporary floral painting combines the influence of Giverny and Impressionism with my own emotional approach to colour. Luminous and full of movement, it captures the sensation of standing inside a garden in full bloom.
