Original artwork description
I made this painting based mainly on aesthetics. I love the different patterns butterflies can have on their wings, and some of them look like they have pupils on them, so I wanted to paint a butterfly on my face, my eyes blending with its wings, like were just one being. The name of the painting is the name of the butterfly I used as reference, so beautiful!
ART SUPPLIES USED:
I painted this piece with the lightfast premium watercolors Schmincke Horadam, Sennelier and QoR, on acid free, 100% cotton, hot-press 300gr watercolor paper by the brand Baohong. And, at the end, I sprayed this painting with a few layers of Krylon UV resistant coating for its optimal preservation.
